Employers at EPC firms screen for plant software and a piping code, not a generic CAD list. Name the fluid service, the code, and one layout outcome such as a shorter pipe rack or a clash cleared before construction.
Product CAD and GD&T stay on the mechanical design engineer resume.
Name the plant software (SP3D, PDMS/E3D, CADWorx, or Plant 3D), the piping code (ASME B31.3 is the usual screen), isometric drawings, and a material take-off or BOM.
Piping design is plant layout for EPC and owner projects. Mechanical design is product CAD, GD&T, and DFM. Keep product examples on the mechanical design engineer page.
SmartPlant 3D, PDMS or E3D, CADWorx, and AutoCAD Plant 3D. Add AutoPIPE or Caesar II only if you ran the stress cases.
State the service and the deliverable. Example: routed high-pressure steam lines to ASME B31.3 and issued clash-free isometrics for a stated line count.
